“课程描述”对每一个来到这里的新人都是个头疼的问题。最初我用一天时间浏览遍所有论坛内容,只收获到一篇解剖学相关帖子,我失望的心也算得以慰藉。但这个材料最终还是我自己做的,用了大概一个月时间完成,当时除了三班倒的工作,只要是休息时间就坐在电脑前打字。其中一部分是我自己写的,有从网站上直接摘抄的,也有后期修改的。现在直接复制到下面,帮助到这里寻找信息的姐妹们扫清RN报名中的路障。

I. Course Name: Anatomy
Theory Hours: 48 hours
Lab Practice Hours: 24hours
Course description: A study of the anatomical structure of the human body. Body structure will be studied by organ systems and will involve a balance between gross anatomical study and histology. Form-function relationships will be emphasized. Students learn the following systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive. The laboratory component of the course generally parallels and reinforces lecture concepts through the use of models, histological slides, skeletal materials and cadaver demonstration.

• Describe the structure, composition and functions of the organ systems of the human body.
• Describe how the organ systems function and interrelate.
• Learn basic technical terminology and language associated with anatomy.

• Use the process of dissection to investigate anatomical structure.
• Learn how to study, interpret and care for anatomical specimens.
• Learn to interpret anatomical and histological sections and preparations.
II. Course Name: Physiology
Theory Hours: 64hours
Lab Practice Hours: 24hours
Course Description: Physiology is one of the important basic medical sciences and the foundation of medical practice. It is a study of the normal functions of organs and organ systems of the body, the mechanisms by which they are achieved and the regulation of their activities. To learn physiology is indispensable not only for the study of successive courses, but also for students’ future professional career after graduation.
Selection of the teaching material should be in accordance with the necessity of medical education and should be laid emphasis on basic theories and knowledge of physiology as well as on the training of basic techniques. Attention should also be paid to promote the ability of scientific thinking of the students. In order to foster the students’ ability to study physiology, we conduct our teaching with several methods, such as self-study, instead of to be given only by lecture in the classroom. Those contents underlined are key-points thus the students should have a good command on them.
